Ingrients & Directions


1/2 C Flour, whole wheat 1 T Honey
1 1/2 C Rolled oats 1 T Butter, melted
1 T Baking powder 1 1/2 C Milk
1 t Ground cinnamon, 1 Apple, peeled,
-or more to taste -cored and shredded,
1/2 t Nutmeg, or more OR
-to taste (optional) 1/2 C Raisins, or other
1 Egg, beaten -fruit (optional)

Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl.

Add the honey, butter, milk and fruit to the egg, then combine with the dry
mixture. The batter should be fairly thick. If it seems too thick, add a
bit more milk. Cook on a hot, lightly buttered griddle.

NOTES:

* Oatmeal and whole wheat pancakes — I got this recipe from a friend. As
she was relating it to me, we agreed on some modifications. Yield: Serves
3-4.
