1 Stick unsalted butter —
(softened)
3/4 c Firmly packed brown sugar
2 Eggs
2 1/4 c All-purpose flour
1/3 c Cocoa powder —
(unsweetened)
1 c Semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 Bag Hershey’s almond (or
Regular) kisses
3/4 c Granulated sugar
1 ts Vanilla extract
1 ts Baking soda
1 Tbspn
1/2 ts Salt
Whole milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat butter, sugars, and vanilla until well
blended. Add eggs, one at a time, and milk — beat well. In a medium
mixing bowl, stir together flour, cocoa, salt, and baking soda. Add
gradually to butter mixture and blend well. Batter will be very thick. Add
chocolate chips and stir with a wooden spoon. Shape dough into 1″ balls
and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for approximately 10 to 11
minutes. Cool on wire racks about 5 minutes. Gently press a Kiss into
center of each cookie. Enjoy!! This is a recipe I ususally make to
bring to our annual Super Bowl parties in January. It’s usually preceded by
a whole mess of chicken wings (cooked by the guys) and the women make the
desserts
