Ingrients & Directions

1/2 c Custard powder
2 c Self-raising flour
2 c Caster sugar
2 ts Vanilla
1 c Milk
250 g Softened unsalted butter
4 Eggs

1. Pre-heat oven to 150deg.C. Line two loaf tins with Glad Bake or grease
well.

2. Sift custard powder and flour together into a large bowl. Add remaining
ingredients and beat with electric beats for at least 10 minutes, until the
mixture is thick and increased in volume.

3. Pour into prepared tins and bake until deep golden and cooked when
tested with a wooden skewer. The cake will sink a little after removing
from the oven. Allow to stand in tin for 5 minutes before gently turning
onto a wire rack to cool completely.
