Ingrients & Directions

12 oz Plain flour
1 ts Baking powder
1 ts Salt
1 ts Grated nutmeg
1 ts Ground cloves
2 ts Ground cinnamon
2 ts Ground ginger
8 oz White vegetable fat
8 oz Caster sugar
1/2 ts Vanilla extract
6 oz Molasses sugar
2 Beaten eggs

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

1.Sift together the flour, salt, baking powder and spices.

2.Slowly melt the vegetable fat.

3.Cool until lukewarm and then pour into a food processor.

4.Add the caster sugar, molasses sugar, vanilla and eggs.

5.Blend on medium speed.

6.Thoroughly mix in the dry ingredients.

7.Set aside until completely cooled. (Overnight in the fridge is best, if
you have the time. That helps to firm up the dough. Take out of fridge
20-30 minutes before you need to use it)

8.Roll out and cut with cookie cutters. 9.Bake for 15 minutes, until the
edges are slightly brown.
