Ingrients & Directions

2 Eggs
1 c Oil
1 c Hot water
2 c Sugar
2 c Flour
1 c Cocoa
2 ts Baking soda
1 c Sour milk
( add 2 tsp vinegar to
Sweet milk )
Whipped cream

Another easy cake that taste wonderful. In a large bowl simply mix all
together. Pour batter ( it will be a bit thin ) into a large 9 x13 or 10 x
14 pan.Or place in several smaller pans or a large bundt or tube pan. Bake
350 , 45 minutes until done. Cool in pan 10 minutes and remove to cool
completely. If baked in an oblong pan, let cool in that pan without
removing. Top cake with a whipped cream frosting or mocha whipped frosting
is which great with with this moist chocolate cake. Or fill and frost
layers.

comment: I often use a chocolate ganache to cover the layer cake and a
fresh flower for garnish. There are many versions of this sour milk cake
but our family enjoys this one the best! This cake tastes best the day
after being baked and freezes very well.
