Ingrients & Directions


1 c Butter or margarine — 2 1/3 c All-purpose flour
Softened 1 ts Baking soda
1/2 c Sugar 1/2 ts Salt
1 c Packed brown sugar 1 c Semisweet chocolate chips —
2 ea Eggs 6 Oz
1 ts Vanilla extract 3/4 c Hazelnuts — chopped

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars on med. speed for 3
min. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add
vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to
batter. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by heaping
tablespoonfuls 3 in. apart onto lightly greased baking sheets.
Flatten lightly with a fork. Bake at 350 deg. for 10 to 12 min. or
until light brown.Remove to a wire rack to cool. Yield: 3 doz.
