1 ea All-purpose flour
3/4 c Granulated sugar
1/4 c Unsweetened cocoa, divided
2 tb Unsweetened cocoa, divided
2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Milk
2 tb Vegetable oil
1 ts Vanilla extract
3/4 c Chopped walnuts
3/4 c Brown sugar firmly packed
– dark or light
1 3/4 c Hot water
1 qt Vanilla ice cream

============== ==== == Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl,
combine the flour, granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa, the baking
powder, and salt. Add the milk, oil, and vanilla; mix with a spoon
until smooth. Stir in the walnuts and pour the batter into an 8 inch
square baking pan that has been coated with nonstick baking spray. In
a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and the remaining 1/4 cup
cocoa; sprinkle evenly over the batter. Pour the hot water over the
brown sugar and cocoa. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the top is
cracked and the brownies are just firm to the touch. Remove from the
oven and let cool for
15 minutes. Cut into squares and place on individual serving
plates. Top each with a scoop of ice cream and the fudge sauce from
the bottom of the pan. Serve immediately.
