-1/2-inch chunks
1/2 c Butter or margarine
1 1/2 c Sugar
2 Eggs
1 c Milk
3 c All-purpose flour
1 ts Salt
3 ts Baking powder

CRUMB MIXTURE
1/2 c Flour
1/2 c Sugar
1 ts Cinnamon
1 ds Nutmeg
1/4 c Butter or margarine

Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and milk. Sift dry ingredients
together. Stir into creamed mixture. Stir in about 1/2 of the chopped apple
chunks. Pour batter into greased 9-by-13-inch pan. Top with remaining
chopped apples. Sprinkle crumb mixture evenly over top. Bake at 350 degrees
for about
30 minutes.

For Crumb Mixture: Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg together. Cut
butter into above mixture until crumbly.
