Ingrients & Directions

1 Loaf Unbaked Bread (Can Use 1/4 ts Pepper
Frozen Dough) 3 Eggs, beaten
1 lb Bacon 1 1/2 c Cream Or Half And Half
8 c Cabbage, shredded 1/2 c Swiss Cheese, Grated
1/2 ts Salt Optional

* Heat oven to 350 F.

1. Roll out the bread dough about 1/4-inch thick and place it in a
9-inch pie pan. Crimp edges, as would for a pie.

2. Cut the bacon into small pieces and brown them in a large heavy
skillet. Pour off all but 1 Tbs of grease. Stir in the shredded
cabbage and cook over moderate heat, stirring, for 1 min.

3. Over low heat, add salt and pepper, eggs, cream and the cheese.
Cook for 3 to 4 mins, stirring. Put mixture in the crust and bake for
30 mins, or until filling is set and the edges are golden brown.
