1 c Winter squash — mashed 1 ts Ground cinnamon
Cooked 1/2 ts Ground nutmeg
1 c Whipping cream — or heavy 1 ds Salt
Cream 1 ea Unbaked pie pastry — 9
1 c Sugar Inches
3 ea Eggs — lightly beaten Whipped cream or topping for
1 ts Ground ginger Garnish

In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except for the pie pastry
and additional whipped cream. Pour into the pastry; bake at 375 deg.
for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 deg.; bake for 45 minutes or until
set. Cool on a wire rack. Chill. Serve with a dollop of whipped
cream. Yield: 8 servings.
