3/4 c Sugar 1 ea Egg
1 c Margarine or butter, 3 c Flour
Softened 1 t Nutmeg

Combine sugar, margarine, vanilla and rum extract with egg until

light golden brown. Cool on rack. Frosting: Combine 2 cups powdered
sugar, 3 tbsp. margarine, 3/4 tsp. rum extract, 1/4 tsp. vanilla and
2 to 3 tbsp. cream or milk. Stir until smooth and spread on top and
sides of cookies. Mark frosting with tines of fork to resemble bark.
Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg. Allow frosting to set before storing
tightly in covered container. Makes 4 1/2 to 5 dozen cookies.
