9 ea Inch unbaked pie shell 3/4 c Lukewarm water
1 c Grapenuts cereal 1 c Dark corn syrup
1 c Brown sugar, packed firm 1 ts Vanilla extract
1/4 c Melted margine pn Of salt
3 ea Eggs, beaten

Soak the grapenuts in the 3/4 cup lukewarm water until all water has
been completely absorbed. In saucepan, mix sugar, syrup, margarine
and salt. Bring to a boil, and stir until sugar is dissolved. Remove
from heat. Meanwhile, beat eggs until foamy. Add a little bit of the
hot mixture to the beaten egg mixture. Continue adding hot mix to
the egg mix until they are well combined, stirring the whole time.
Add the vanilla and pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 375F for
40-50 minutes or until it tests clean. Jenny Pansy of Neck, Florida
says: “We use ta stir up somethin from nothin. Now, they gotta have
