Ingrients & Directions


2 c Raisins
1 1/2 c Sugar
1 c Boiling water
1/2 c Dark molases or dark Karo
1/2 c Vinegar
1 c Soda cracker crumbs,
-crushed
1/2 ts Salt
1 1/2 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Cloves
1/2 ts Nutmeg
1 Double crust unbaked
-10″ pie shell

Put raisins, sugar and butter in pan and pour boiling water over the
mixture and stir. Mix in remainder of ingredients and cool (best if put in
refrigerator to age mixture for 1 – 2 days – stir several times a day).
Then put filling ingredients in unbaked pie shell top with pie crust, seal
and bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes. Can be served warm or cold. It
can also be served with Vanilla Ice Cream.
