Ingrients & Directions

1/2 c Flour
1 c Sugar
1 c Milk
Butter to taste (dot over
-top)
1 ds Cinnamon (sprinkle over top)
1 Unbaked pie shell

Hi….this sounds like a German milk pie to me. They make them around here
in Pa. Dutch country, but my mother (who grew up in Wheeling, WV) had a
(German) grandma who made them for her, too. Here is a recipe, see if this
is it:

Heat oven 400. Place ingredients in the above order into unbaked pie shell
(I mix flour & sugar together first, then put in shell). Stir a bit with a
fork to mix ingredients (be careful of raw pie dough on the bottom). Bake
for 15 min., then turn down oven to 350 for 30 minutes. Will set & get
firmer as it cools.
