6 tb Unsalted butter 1/2 c Light corn syrup
6 oz Unsweetened bakers chocolate 1/4 ts Salt
1 c Boiling water 1 1/2 ts Vanilla extract or flavor

Combine butter and chocolate in heavy saucepan and stir over low heat
until melted. Stir in the water, sugar, corn syrup, and salt.

Turn heat to med. and bring mixture to boil, stirring. Boil sauce
gently, without stirring, for abt. 8 to 9 min., or until it is
thickened and smooth. Stir in vanilla extract and serve hot. Stores
in ‘fridge for months.

Reheat in microwave, or set jar in pan of hot water, stirring
occasionally until desired temp.

Yield: abt. 2 cups

EXCELLENT!! Just like Hot Fudge used to be.
