3 1/2 c All-purpose flour
1 c Rye flour
1 c Corn meal
2 c Wheat germ
1/2 c Powdered milk — (non-fat,
Dry)
1 tb Salt
1 pk Dry yeast
2 c Chicken stock — (for cats)
OR beef stock( — for dogs)
1 Egg — *
2 tb Milk *
Food coloring
Cookie cutters

Mix all ingredients (except egg and milk) together in a large mixing bowl
and form dough. Roll the dough out to 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch thick. Cut out
different shapes your pet will like with cookie cutters. Put the cut
treats on a cookie sheet and brush with a mixture of one beaten egg and 2
Tablespoons milk. Bake 40-45 minutes at 300 degrees. You can add a few
drops of food coloring to make different colored pet treats. Refrigerate
these treats until you use them.
