2 c Crisco
2 c White sugar
4 Eggs
4 c Flour
4 c Oatmeal
2 ts Baking soda
1 ts Baking powder
1 ts Salt
1 pk (12-oz) chocolate chips
1 pk (12-oz) butterscotch chips
1 c Chopped walnuts (or other
-favorite nuts)
2 ts Vanilla

Cream Crisco, sugar and eggs well. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well;
form into small egg size. Press down on ungreased cookie sheet. With oven
heated to 425 degrees, bake 5 to 7 minutes. 5 minutes will usually result
in lightly brown color and a bit soft. Allow to sit for a short time and
they will harden somewhat.

I have made these for special friends and gatherings and they have always
been a BIG hit! Everyone asks for the recipe. I got it from a friend of my
daughter’s in 1984 and I am not sure where it came from. Be forewarned:
