Ingrients & Directions

9 1/2 oz Butter
4 1/2 oz Sugar
2 Egg yolks
4 ts Vanilla
1/3 ts Salt
12 oz Flour
1/2 c Chopped pecans
1 1/2 c Pecan halves
Honey
Confectioners sugar
2 Bananas; thinly sliced
Vanilla ice cream

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl beat butter and sugar
until well creamed. Add egg yolks and vanilla, mix until combined.
Slowly add salt, flour and chopped pecans. Mixture should begin
forming into dough. Chill. On baking pan, in oven, toast pecan halves
for about 7 minutes. Remove from oven and drizzle with honey. Coat
with sugar. Set aside. Remove dough from refrigerator and roll into
3/8-inch thickness. Cut into 4-inch disks. Bake until light brown,
about 12 to 15 minutes. On plate place cookies in a circle. Arrange
bananas around cookies. Dust bananas with sugar and caramelize with a
propane torch. Place honey sugar pecans in center and top with
vanilla ice cream.
