Ingrients & Directions


2 1/4 c All-purpose flour 3/4 c Granulated sugar
1 t Baking soda 1 t Vanilla
1/2 t Salt 2 ea Eggs
1 c (2 sticks) 1 c Coarsely chopped nuts (opt)
Softened butter or margarine 1 pk (12 oz) Semi-Sweet Real
3/4 c Firmly packed brown sugar Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Mix flour with baking soda and salt; set aside. Beat butter, sugars,
vanilla and eggs until light and fluffy. Blend in flour mixture. Stir
in nuts and chips. Drop from teaspoon, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased
baking sheets. Bake at 375 for about 10 minutes or until golden
brown. Makes about 6 dozen.
