Ingrients & Directions

1 c Sugar 1 tb Anise seed
2 Eggs 1 1/3 c Flour, sifted (*)

Put sugar, eggs and anise seed into pan, stir well and put on medium
heat. Stir constantly, and when little more than lukewarm, add flour.
Take from heat, and beat well. Then when well mixed, drop by
teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet, not too close together. Let
stand overnight. Bake next morning for 10 to 12 minutes at 350
degrees just until delicate brown.

* NOTE: The faster you work with the dough after adding the flour the
better the cookies will be.
