Lemon Chess Pie #3

Ingrients & Directions


1 Unbaked pie shell
1/4 c Lemon juice
1 Lemon rind; grated
1 1/2 c Sugar
1 tb Sifted cornmeal
4 Eggs; beaten
1/4 c Milk
1 tb Flour; sifted
1/4 c Melted butter
Nutmeg

Beat the lemon juice, beaten eggs & lemon rind together. Add milk & mix.
Combine sugar, flour & cornmeal; stir into egg mixture. Add butter & mix
well. Pour into unbaked pie shell; sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 350 for
about 45 minutes or until custard is set.
