Karen Butler’s Banana Bread

Ingrients & Directions


1/2 c Vegetable oil
1 c Sugar
2 Eggs
1 c Mashed ripe bananas
1 ts Lemon juice
2 c Sifted flour
3 tb Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
OPTIONAL:
1/2 c Chocolate chips
1/2 c Raisins
1/2 c Nuts

1. Cream oil & sugar. 2 Beat eggs until light and add
to the oil & sugar 3. Mash bananas & add lemon juice.
Blend with creamed mixture 4. Sift Flour, baking
powder and salt
and mix into banana mixture. Add chips, nuts,
raisins. 5. Bake in greased 9X5X3 loaf pan at 375
degrees for 1 1/4 hours. Makes 1 loaf.
