Bethany’s Blue Ribbon Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingrients & Directions


1/2 c Granulated Sugar 1 c Sifted Flour
1/4 c Light Brown Sugar 3/4 ts Salt
1/2 c Butter Crisco 1/2 ts Baking Soda
1 lg Egg 1 pk (6 Oz) Semisweet Chocolate
1 ts Vanilla Extract -Chips, Minature

* Preheat oven to 375 F.

1. Combine the sugars, Crisco, egg and vanilla. Beat together with
electric mixer or wooden spoon until light and fluffy.

2. Stir in the flour mixed with salt and baking soda. Fold in the
chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls onto a lightly greased cookie
sheet, at least 2 inches apart. Bake for 10 to 12 mins. Remove and
let cool completely on racks.

Recipe may be doubled.
